The Royal Mail Annual 2009

These tiles depict competitors from ancient Greece performing eight different Olympic events. The designer Adam Giles at Hat-trick came up with the idea to fire them onto tiles.

Competitors were both male and naked, so the illustrations had to be carefully discreet.

My favourite has to be the running in armour event.
